The spicy and peppery notes of rye make it feel right from the start, followed by aromas of biscuit and dried fruit.
In the mouth the heat of the alcohol accompanies the flavors of pine and resinous as well as the dried fruits. The finish is a frank sweet and bitter note.
It is pairing very well with game, tikka massala and other spicy cuisines, cheeses like roquefort and gorgonzola. For dessert it will be perfectly accompanied by a tart tatin and a pudding.
