JB and Numa met in 2006, when they discovered the same passion "skimming the PUBs of the Scottish capital" during their year in Edinburgh. Then came the professional experiences: France, Belgium,
New Zealand. Between trips and good beers, the project of setting up their Craft brewery is part of conversations and dreams.
As a sound engineer, Numa quickly realized that gigs rhyme with beers. Especially when you study in Scotland and Belgium. Scientist in the soul (DUT and Bachelor of physics), passionate
cook, it is quite naturally that he falls in the homebrewing while he lives in New Zealand in the region of Motueka and Nelson, where grow these famous prized hops by many brewers. Having
made a decision, he will return to france to mix his two passions between music and gastronomy!
In 2006, JB is in Scotland to become a brewer following the brewing and distilling course of Heriot Watt University, after two years spent in Lille in DUT food industries. He made his arms at
various French breweries, then he left in 2011 for New Zealand. He will stay there for four years. Master Brewer for the Good George Brewery in Hamilton, he flourishes by perfecting the recipes
and creating the beers he enjoys. He returns to France to set up ZooBrew and pass on his passion!
